Moving day volunteers: James's family relocating in Parramatta

Moving day on Monday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

Parramatta
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Parramatta, and the lease starts on Monday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. I hope life is good to you.

    • best of luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor in Paarl donated after I showed her your page. All the best.

praying for you, James. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

          • Keep going, James. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.

            • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Niterói.
