Sang-hoon can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Sang-hoon regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇰🇷 Daegu, Daegu, South Korea811 views
Sang-hoon has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Sang-hoon can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Sang-hoon's family will cook lunch for the team.
