Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Belém
Volunteers in Belém are raising $450 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Baobab community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 292 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $300
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $115
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
