Oliver was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at Nottingham Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Oliver is 34, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nottingham Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $8,200 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $410 • Transport to Nottingham Cancer Centre: $790 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
