Do-hyun was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in May. The surgeon at Las Cruces Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,650, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,500 short.
my son has been in and out of Las Cruces Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,650 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Do-hyun struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
