Doris was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at Anaheim University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Doris is 25, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Anaheim University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,700 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,950 • Scans and lab work: $960 • Transport to Anaheim University Hospital: $420 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $660 • Household costs while unable to work: $710 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Nicholas

Updates from Nicholas

  1. Small update. $3,966 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 36% now ($2,429). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the treatment center and confirmed the amounts.
