Help Patrick save Luna - surgery needed

Luna is my three-legged dog of six years. On 19 June we rushed to the Louisville Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,200. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Louisville Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery. Where the $1,200 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $370 • Emergency surgery: $550 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $280 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
