Harsh, my husband, passed away on 24 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 70 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Harsh to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $600 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $410 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115 • Transport of the deceased: $25 • Memorial gathering for the family: $50 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
