Dante, my brother, passed away on 12 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 54 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dante to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $600 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $90 • Memorial gathering for the family: $40 • Funeral home services and casket: $470 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Divina
