My wife Aisha has been accepted for treatment at Gqeberha Children's Hospital in Gqeberha, starting on Friday in June. We live 487 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Aisha and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Aisha will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I hope life is good to you.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Themba. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Badagry.

    • So sorry you're going through this. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

      • So sorry you're going through this, Themba. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Gqeberha.
