A playground for the Union health centre yard: help our neighbors in Gazipur
A community-led a playground at the Union health centre yard that will serve 477 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $65, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 477 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $250 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
• Materials: $175
