Let's build a skate park together in Mohammedia
A community-led a skate park at the old Harmony bus depot that will serve 270 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 270 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $400
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $100
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
