Sunny is my three-legged dog of six years. On 23 August we rushed to Christchurch Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,150. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Christchurch Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Sunny's recovery.
