Yard rescue for Volkan, 90: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Volkan, 90, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Çankaya for 26 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

best of luck, Volkan. Hope the doctors have good news. Take care.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!
Keep going. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Thinking of Çankaya.
Stay strong, Volkan. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My neighbor in Zanzibar City donated after I showed her your page. Love from Zanzibar City
Rooting for you, Volkan. Wishing Volkan a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Greetings from Tampa
