Emergency vet bill for Buddy in Davao City
A rabbit named Buddy needs orthopedic surgery - a $550 bill the family can't cover.
🇵🇭 Philippines318 views
Buddy is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 16 December we rushed to Davao City Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Davao City Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $360
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $130
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck, Nicole. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
