Help Hauwa save Hazel - surgery needed
A rescue greyhound named Hazel needs emergency surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.

Hazel is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 16 July we rushed to the Kano Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Kano Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $130
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $55
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
