Companionship wanted: Danish's local history and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Faisalabad to visit Danish once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Danish, who's 76. Danish lives alone in Faisalabad, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Danish loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out
Wishing you peace, Aleena. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
You're not alone. Hope the doctors have good news. Wish I lived closer to Bang Khen so I could bring a meal. Take care.
Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Melbourne donated after I showed her your page.
thanks for sharing this, Aleena. Shared this with my family. Take care
sending love. Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Faisalabad.
Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from New Delhi.
Keep going, Aleena. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
hope you get there. Thinking of Faisalabad
