Jitra has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Phuket Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Jitra can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 27 km each way.
Jitra is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.

Hope things get better soon, Patcharee. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
