Mental health support for Halima after military deployment

A course of trauma-focused CBT for Halima could change everything; the cost is $350.

After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Lagos Counselling Collective cost $10 each. I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment. The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record. Where the $350 goes: • 10 therapy sessions: $280 • Psychiatric assessment: $40 • Workbook and resources: $30 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
