Care for Jay, 85: help cover a carer and medication in Nagpur
Jay, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $400 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Jay can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jay desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Jay worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $55
• Part-time carer (three months): $305
