Bruno was diagnosed with kidney cancer in September. The oncology team at Tehuacán Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Bruno is 54, worked as a primary school teacher until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tehuacán Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $290 • Transport to Tehuacán Regional Medical Center: $320 • Household costs while unable to work: $510 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,230 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Roberto
