Max is my senior cat of eleven years. On 7 September we rushed to Rome Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Max is more than a pet - Max walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Rome Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
