Renato needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Juiz de Fora
Without my school-run minibus Renato can't work; a $600 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 10 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $600 goes:
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $65
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $470
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Renato
Update from Juiz de Fora: the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. We're at 31% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 21% funded and I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
Small update. $97 so far, I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. - Renato
