Zanzibar City
I coordinate donations at Pioneer Women's Shelter in Zanzibar City. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Zanzibar City, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Women's Shelter on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope things get better soon, Juma. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.

    • Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal. Blessings.

        • Take care, Juma. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
