Dignity in old age: caring for Zewditu
Zewditu can't afford the care She needs after a heart attack; we're asking for $650.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 78. After a heart attack Zewditu can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Zewditu desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Zewditu worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $510
• Medication and prescriptions: $80
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $15
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
