Veteran in need: Walker's next mission is stability
After ten years of service, Walker is raising funds for a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served ten years in the air force and was discharged in 2025 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $2,550.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Essential household items: $770
• Transport to appointments: $310
• Training provider fees: $1,470
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
