Yinka Garba Tijani
Spanish and biology teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Jacaranda Grammar School
- 2010 to 2018
- English
For eight years I was the Spanish teacher at Jacaranda Grammar School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Yinka
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
