Pepper's bloat: help with the vet bill
A rabbit named Pepper needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $350 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my rabbit of two years. On 30 April we rushed to Saint Petersburg Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $65 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Saint Petersburg Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $100
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $185
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
