Santiago L. Contreras
Retired anthropology lecturer
- 🇲🇽 Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico
- 1989 to 2007
- Spanish
I taught anthropology at Veracruz Polytechnic from 1989 to 2007, and supervised 34 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Santiago
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
Fields
What gifts mean to Santiago: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
