I coordinate donations at Acacia Women's Shelter in Dublin. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Dublin, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Women's Shelter on Monday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 25 people at work. Thinking of Dublin.
