I coordinate donations at Liberty Women's Shelter in Leicester. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Leicester, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Women's Shelter on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Thinking of you and your family. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Barranquilla donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.

      • Hang in there, Matthew. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together
