I earned a place in Grade 9 at Gqeberha Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have. I love coding and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $150 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $60 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30 • School uniform and shoes: $60 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
