Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Jayson in Manila
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Manila?

I'm a school janitor living in Manila. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $980, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Málaga donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Ikeja this morning. Greetings from Ikeja!
You're not alone, Jayson. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Manila.
