A service dog for Aaron, a navy veteran in Nottingham
A navy veteran in Nottingham needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with a service-related knee injury.

I served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $4,350.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $4,350 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,350
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,200
• Transport to appointments: $350
• Essential household items: $450
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending strength, Aaron. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Nottingham
Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Makati but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Aaron. I hope things turn around soon. God bless
