Biscuit is my three-legged dog of three years. On 25 February we rushed to the Detroit Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,450. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Detroit Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Biscuit's recovery. Where the $1,450 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130 • Medication and follow-up visits: $200 • Emergency surgery: $1,120 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Dennis
