Earthquake in Guadalajara: help Greenfield village rebuild
The earthquake damaged 49 homes in Greenfield village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The earthquake hit Greenfield village on 13 May. My home was one of 49 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $220
• Clean water and purification supplies: $210
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,520
Glad we found this place.

Sending love, Elena. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Epe.
projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Greetings from Hamilton.
sending love, Elena. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Sending love, Elena. More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Guadalajara.
