Standing with Odhiambo: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs

Odhiambo was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in September. The oncology team at Nairobi University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Odhiambo is 48, worked as a construction supervisor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nairobi University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
