My sister Nova has been accepted for treatment at Los Angeles Transplant Centre in Los Angeles, starting on Tuesday in April. We live 402 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Nova and me. We can contribute $85 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Nova will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

      • praying for you, Isabelle. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Los Angeles

          • Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
