We're short of hands for the Free Bike Repair Day; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 219 neighbors in St. Petersburg. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I hope life is good to you.

  • Rooting for you, Na-young. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

    • You're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of St. Petersburg!

      • Thinking of you, Na-young. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
