Fatima's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

I earned a place in Year 11 at Lagos Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $105, which is more than we have. I love robotics and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $105 goes: • Laptop: $50 • School uniform and shoes: $35 • Textbooks and workbooks: $15 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Fatima
