The Liberty health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Dung's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Thủ Đức are raising $300 for a youth football pitch at the Liberty health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 342 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $195
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
