I served six years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2022 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,300. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden. Where the $4,300 goes: • Training provider fees: $2,150 • Housing deposit and first month: $1,250 • Transport to appointments: $410 • Essential household items: $490 Thank you for reading my story. - Delilah

Wishing you the best, Delilah. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. Blessings
