The Lotus health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Riccardo's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Latina are raising $2,750 for a youth football pitch at the Lotus health centre yard.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $630, and the remaining cost is $2,750.
It will serve about 294 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,900
• Permits and inspections: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $370
• Tools hire and delivery: $200
