I make my living with my food truck. 10 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $55 • Labor charges: $120 • Towing and inspection: $25 I hope life is good to you.

  • praying for you. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Addis Ababa but we're thinking of you. God bless.

    • Rooting for you, Isabela. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 17 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.

      • Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Kingston.

        • So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Ciudad de México this morning. Thinking of Ribeirão Preto.
