The Lotus health centre yard needs a skate park - Tika's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $200 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 481 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $200 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Materials: $145
