Roofing help wanted: Taylor's home in Québec
The roof at Taylor's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.
🇨🇦 Quebec, Canada974 views
I'm a widowed grandmother living in Québec. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,900, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you the best. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Please keep us posted.
Sending strength, Taylor. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Take care. Hope you get there. Blessings.
This could happen to any of us. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Québec.
You're not alone. Looking forward to the next update.
