Tenant-rights advice for Dilshan in Dehiwala: a short consultation
Dilshan is dealing with a no-fault termination and needs someone who knows the law in Western to explain the options.

My landlord in Dehiwala has given me a no-fault termination. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Western could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Western would also be appreciated.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Dilshan. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Johannesburg so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Dehiwala.
Hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Nagpur so I could bring a meal.
You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from New Delhi
Stay strong. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Agra donated after I showed her your page
