Zoya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at the Lahore Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Zoya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Zoya has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Zoya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Zoya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Lahore Institute of Technology bursar's office.
