Simona lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Verona Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,800. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Simona could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,800 goes: • braille note-taker: $1,300 • Fitting and training sessions: $90 • Delivery and set-up: $165 • First-year servicing plan: $245 If you're reading this, thank you.
