Surgery fund for Oliver: ACL reconstruction in San Jose
After gallstones with repeated infections, Oliver was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Oliver was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in February. The surgeon at San Jose Orthopedic Institute recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,800 short.
my son has been in and out of San Jose Orthopedic Institute since February. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Oliver struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Oliver won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
